Prayer Partner Conference 2012
Our annual conference was held on Saturday 23 June 2012 at The Bellbird Primary School in Sawston, a new venue this year that was well received.
Around 120 people joined us for the day including staff and Trustees. Following an opening address by Senior Evangelist, John Hibberd (which you can listen to by selecting the link at the bottom of this page), a 'Breakfast News' style panel was introduced by our Administrator David Baslington. David posed questions to 5 of the staff and also to Howard Bray, a Task Force member from Cornwall who gave us his perspective on the planned walk for 2013.

The staff spoke as follows:
John spoke of the recent graduation by 5 SCE students and presented the final certificate to Mike Wilkinson who had been unable to be present at the St John's Nottingham graduation day but was at this conference. He also spoke about the search for a new evangelist to join the staff.
Roger gave us an insight into his Ireland missions; he was only at the conference in the morning as he dashed off to Tullylish in the northern Republic to lead yet another one! He also spoke about the recent Worthing mission; David Culhane also gave a report from Worthing and then Roger looked forward to the Stratford Olympics outreach, 'More than Gold'.
Peter updated us on his return to health and reported back from the recent Prittlewell, Southend on Sea mission which he led.
Daniel spoke of how his time was being spent since stepping down last year as the lead evangelist of TFM. More time at home and, apparently, enjoying the delights of shopping with his wife Gillie! (maybe not)
After a break, we heard the first of 2 talks by Rev Dr Michael Green, speaking on the 'Changing Face of Evangelism'. This took us to lunch, an important time to catch up with old friends and for supporters to quiz the staff. On our return the second talk by Michael. Both these talks are available for listening below along with PDFs of the powerpoints that you can use alongside the talks.
Daniel rounded off the afternoon commending Michael's message to us and thanking everyone for attending.
